Electronic Rosary App Reviews

I was so excited about this app and I still would recommend it to my friends and family but I was so very disappointed with the ending. Why go to all the trouble to have such a beautiful and traditional Catholic app like this and at the very end place a very ... Modern rendition of the Hail Holy Queen, so modern in fact I couldnt even follow along and I have taught Parish school of Religion and Liturgy of the Word to the Children of our church for years. Please fix!

This is the third time I am trying to leave a review. With that being said, I have purchased two additional apps as gifts. I feel it is obviously a wonderful app that could use some minor enhancements. 1. Should have an option to use the traditional prayers in lieu of contemporary Hail Holy Queen, etc. 2. The Hail Mary dots at the bottom of the mystery pictures, should be different contrasting colors other than white and yellow. Too hard to distinguish which color while youre actively praying. 3. The vocal, announced mysteries should indicate first, second, third,-- especially helpful for those unfamiliar with the mysteries or are new at praying the rosary. For example, the first sorrowful mystery, the third joyful mystery etc.

Those of you who like a very traditional prayed Rosary (English) download BARB. Hail Holy Queen is said correctly. (NEVER heard that version that Lisa prays) I also like that Barb starts with Sign of the Cross. Previous: I like the App very much. Prayed for 64 days straight. I like that it is in different languages, that one can set speed, record voice, has a silent half if you want. That said wish when I first got it that it had a tutorial. I almost deleted App because did not like the way Rosary was prayed. I did not realize ( my fault but directions should have been clearer) that one could change language version. (Settings- Languages) So glad I downloaded English "Barb" A Very traditional Rosary. She begins with the Sign of the cross and ends with traditional prayers at end. Her voice is nice too. The reason I did not give 5 stars: The developer must be commended for this App, however please there has to be an easier way to communicate with developer. Note :App support goes to Portuguese website. I had a problem and I emailed them within App on May 5 they did not respond til May 22. The Email I got sent me to Portuguese website. Wrote them again. I got a solution (delete app and reinstall) to my problem on June 21! Just thought developer should know!

Except even at slowest speed it seems too fast... Also the prayers deviate from the ones the good old nuns taught us

I really like the voice for this rosary. The pictures are nice but I wish it had the entire rosary pictured so you can follow along. Because of this, Im looking for a better app. I also agree with many others that the Hail Holy Queen should be the traditional one. Also, how can the rosary be said without the sign of the cross? This app needs some improvements.

I use this with my children for family devotions and love the option to record their voices saying the prayers. We also use it to practice saying our prayers in other languages.

Enjoy the app except for the fast talking. Its distracting. She is supposed to be praying, not speed reading. Please fix. Thank you.
